Antalya is a paradise on earth on the shores
of the Mediterranean. A famous destination for conventions,
incentives, holidays and special interest tours. It's an
attractive city with shady, palm-lined boulevards and a
prize-winning marina. Not to be missed is the picturesque
old quarter called Kaleiçi (Citadel, with narrow winding
streets and quaint, old, wooden houses next to the city
walls).
Antalya has been an amazing place in history for more than
2000 years, thanks to the Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks and
Ottomans. It was once a place where conventions (with up to
15.000 people) were held in second century B.C.. Antalya and
its surroundings are Turkey's tourism capital. It has a full
range of accommodations, from tourist class to deluxe
hotels, conference halls, cultural events, famous cuisine,
as well as hospitable people who will make your visits
comfortable and enjoyable.
